Hi,
The clock on my laptop seems to be straying dramatically from the real time even if I turn off ntpd.
Could it be the clock applet itself?
After I run rdate with ntpd off, it starts to stray right away.
This started in the last two weeks after doing many updates.
Has anyone else seen this, or even fixed it?
Thanks in advance, Blair.
I believe clock drift is a hardware and not a software issue. Is this a new laptop from a reputable manufacturer?
Greg
Try:
