In that case, apparently, the problem is that some links can't be
created, so in order to sort it out, you can add debugging statements to
the SPEC such as

echo "XFROM: ../../$i"
echo "XTO: $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{_includedir}/%{name}-private/"

and then have a look at the build log and inspect the build root to find
out why this could possibly fail...
