I wish one of them, but sadly I live in Brasil, so I don't have how to bring it here.

2010/4/22 Karanbir Singh <mail-lists@karan.org>

This just came through. Is there any interest in the Alpha platform
amongst people here ?

Also, these guys are based in the US - so a US based home would be ideal
for these machines.
Hello,

We have two retired Alpha Server 1000A 5/333 systems if you would be
interested in them. I have not had much luck finding them a home
where they could be used. It would include the tape driver,
console, multiple drives. If you’re interested let me know, and we
can pull them out, and get them ready for shipping. Here are the
stock specs.

• 64-bit 500 MHz processor
• I/O slots -- 7 PCI, 2 EISA
• Up to 1 GB ECC memory
• Up to 54 GB internal storage (8.8 TB total)
• 8 MB ECC cache ServerWORKS software for easy system management
• Choice of operating systems: Tru64 UNIX, OpenVMS or Windows NT Server
