I'm not sure why they are excluded, maybe there were issues building (or
dependency wise) on CentOS 7 i686.
The CentOS Storage SIG builds updated Gluster packages for all supported
architectures, and i686 is not one of them (yet?). There should not be
any issues with i686 builds for CentOS 7, but i686 is not one of the
architectures available in the CBS.
