So, the first update this morning was with the GUI updater that does the <br>
update during a reboot.  I just updated to the '87 release of grub2 <br>
using dnf from the command line, and the update was successful, with a <br>
correctly booting system.  So I can't reproduce the issue on this laptop.<br>
