Trabalho muito com DELL e nunca vi ou ouvi isso.<br>
Achei o seguinte:

Acredito que o RHEL/CentOS deva reconhecer a controladora, porém, a
DELL não deve dar suporte nesse caso.<br>
Aqui, tenho um DELL Power Edge NF500 que só é suportado pelo Windows
Server. Mas instalei sem problemas o SLES11 SP1 x64.<br>
