I figured I would ask, because that sounded similar to my situation. Go 
into your BIOS and see if something is assigning IRQ 11. If everything 
is set to automatically assign, then I would start shutting off devices 
one at a time in the BIOS. You have some piece of hardware that it 
doesn't like from the sounds of it.
