It was somehow grabbing the partitions and preventing mount from mounting them. Even when I reformatted them to be single partitions/ drive instead of being part of a LVM2 group. Help on this group led me to removing the package, then 4.2 worked well. Note, this first hit me on an yum upgrade. It also affected a fresh install.
