[Centos] view remote desktop

i have the same thing and mine works fine, i get the
whole kde desktop like i was at the console.

xsetroot -solid grey
vncconfig -iconic &
xterm -geometry 80x24+10+10 -ls -title "$VNCDESKTOP
Desktop" &
startkde &
