I'm using DAG apt reprositories [ http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/ ] it has mplayer in packages list [ http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/packages.php ]. However you'll need to install the binary codecs yourself. Just extract the DLLs in /usr/lib/win32 and they should work fine. Jeffrey B.
