[CentOS] install not recognizing RHEL

I am trying to install ArcServe 11 for Linux

[root at linserv1 cdrom]# ./install

Much license gibberish removed...

[root at linserv1 cdrom]# cat /etc/issue

[root at linserv1 cdrom]# cat /etc/issue.net
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3 (Taroon Update 5)
Kernel \r on an \m

[root at linserv1 cdrom]# uname -a
Linux linserv1.mullenpr.com 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed May 25
14:26:33 EDT 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Any suggestions?

(this is a centOS 3.5 system)...

# cat /etc/issue.bak
