[CentOS] Kernel 2.4 in centos 4.3

Honestly?

I think you should just bite the bullet and migrate to CentOS 4 and not
try to get an older kernel to work with a newer version of Centos. What
youa re proposing is trying to get the windows xp kernel to run under
windows 9x...it just isn't going to happen without wasting more time
than if you just upgrade to the newer version outright. YOur statement
that you did not want to reload also bears testament to this.

It comes down to this:
do you really want to waste all of htis time and frustration trying to
piece together two totally different Linux versions or jsut go the other
faster, less frustrating way of migrating to CentOS-4?

My "Foundation" verse:
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and
every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their
righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
