[CentOS] yum failing

i can't use the mirrorlists feature as yum still fails behind my proxy. 
    I think it's havp causing issues which means i probably have to 
increase the yum timeout.  I needed to get these machines updated so i 
switched back to my ftp setup.  I added another mirror to the rotation 
and when kernel.org failed it failed over to easynews which worked fine.
