is there an easy way (yum install . . .) to add firebird/interbase 
support to php ?

Everything that google came up with suggests downloading php sources and 
compiling with  --with-interbase=/opt/...
I 'd rather not do this as I would like to keep php yummable

I have php php-5.0.4-5.centos4
