Hi,

I found the solution for using the 2.6.9-42 kernel with the Intel 3945ABG card.

You can use the following driver with 2.6.9-42 kernel.
ftp://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/40rolling/testing/i386/RPMS/ipw3945

Now it's working fine for me on my Dell M90 with CentOS 4.4 with 2.6.9-42 kernel.

Hello Rachid,

Module for Intel 3945 is only for kernels above 2.6.15.

I'm afraid that you will have to change the kernel (compile your own
one)

It's funny for me that Intel 3945ABG is so popular and common Linux
dists doesn't support that wireless card.
