When I try that, it errors with:
Sep 25 19:14:01 server-mail3 automount[14917]: mount_autofs: already mounted
Sep 25 19:14:01 server-mail3 automount[14917]: /home: mount failed!
Sep 25 19:14:01 server-mail3 autofs: automount startup failed
