[CentOS] libmysqlclient not found, while compiling PowerDNS

It's likely looking in /usr/include/mysql and /usr/lib/mysql/* for linking.

mysqlclient1X-devel packages put things in usr/include/mysql[3,4] and
/usr/lib/mysql[3,4]. You may need to adjust the configure/make
information accordingly, or see if powerDNS has packages for
fedora/rhel.
