Mine runs from xinetd and I have selinux enabled. Here are some more bits of
information:
[root at host ~]# ls -lZ /etc/rsyncd.conf
-rw-r--r-- root root root:object_r:etc_t /etc/rsyncd.conf
[root at host ~]# ls -lZ /var/log/rsyncd.log
-rw-r--r-- root root user_u:object_r:var_log_t /var/log/rsyncd.log
[root at host ~]# sestatus
SELinux status: enabled
SELinuxfs mount: /selinux
Current mode: enforcing
Mode from config file: enforcing
Policy version: 21
Policy from config file: targeted
[root at host ~]# uname -a

[root at host ~]# rpm -qf $(type -p rsync)
