YOu have not told us, what server and what OS you're running. If it's a Dell Server (you have a Dell raid card) you can do it with Dell's OMSA: http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Repository/hardware The webinterface lets you configure and view all Raid parts, all drive infos are there, too. Note this does only work on PE* servers, not SC*. Rainer
