[CentOS] pgsql error on cent os 4.4

[root at netmonitor mysource_matrix]# php install/step_02.php
/home/websites/mysource_matrix

When I run the above command, I will get the below error.

pg_connect(): Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: fe_sendauth: no
password supplied
