What exactly happened that makes you say that it > failed? How far did you get, and what was the failure? It was some time ago, and don't recall all details. I thought it was a CentOS 5.1-specific issue, but when I had to reinstall and used Scientific Linux 5.1 it didn't work either. I will redownload CentOS 5.1 x86 and will run it under vmware, so as to report the issues in the list.
