I did to make it work: - installed the 915resolution-0.5.2-2.el5.rf.rpm from rpmforge - added the following line to /etc/rc.d/rc.local /usr/sbin/915resolution 54 1280 800 32 - that's all; no need to fiddle with xorg.conf because it just changes the reolution #54 from 1024x768 to 1280x800 Hth Rainer
