You are not the first to be confused by that - it is almost a FAQ on the forum; however it is the expected behavior - yum will install the latest version of a package available and kernel-headers does not depend on the kernel version. You should be able to use "rpm -i --oldpackage ..." to install the version matching your kernel. Phil
