OK, this creates a place for the applet to live. The applet still does
not work. I using Version: 0.3.1-4.el4:
sauron.deepsoft.com% rpm -q NetworkManager NetworkManager-gnome
NetworkManager-0.3.1-4.el4
NetworkManager-gnome-0.3.1-4.el4
Oh, and the applet in this version is named NetworkManagerInfo, not nm-applet.
