[CentOS] /etc/inittab not loaded properly

hi, im new here. we have servers with centos 4. yesterday one of it crash and cold rebooted. reboot process run well until finally we found that some of /etc/inittab configurations doesn't loaded properly, like no virtual terminal available and svscanboot not executed. i assumed that these configurations not loaded: # Run gettys in standard runlevels 1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1 2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2 3:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty3 4:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty4 5:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty5 6:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty6 # Run xdm in runlevel 5 x:5:respawn:/etc/X11/prefdm -nodaemon SV:123456:respawn:/command/svscanboot clearly this is not normal and how to fix it ? please help! thank you. -- http://blog.rizahnst.org
