Hi All, I have installed VMWare 2.0.2-203138_x64 on a CentOS 5.4 x64. Everything appears to work fine. I can create the virtual machine but when I power it on the whole vmware web access is unreachable on default port 8222/8333. [root at Panda]# uname -a Linux Panda 2.6.18-164.10.1.el5 #1 SMP Thu Jan 7 19:54:26 EST 2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Does anybody know if there is a compatibility problem with the new kernel 2.6.180164.10.1 ? [root at Panda vmware-server-distrib]# /usr/bin/vmware @@PRODUCT_NAME@@ is installed, but it has not been (correctly) configured for the running kernel. To (re-)configure it, invoke the following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so have you found a fix? Thx, A. ********************************* This message and any attachments (the "message") are confidential and intended solely for the addressees.
