Hello! You can look at xfs: http://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/ I think this benchmarks help you: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=ext4_benchmarks&num=2 I use this file system for MySQL with a big DB on Software RAID.
