They mention "high-purity isopropyl alcohol".
The highest purity I've ever seen is 70%.

Also, said instructions do recommend spreading some
thermal grease manually (actually, redit-cardily).
One wipes off as much as one can before adding
the blob to be spread by the heat spreader.
