Oh, yes. I forgot that should be "devel". I installed
libstdc++-devel-4.4.7-4.el6.i686 and compat-libstd.... and "rpm -qa" shows
that they are installed

[igor at localhost wine-1.7.3]$ rpm -qa | grep libstdc
compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-144.el6.i686
libstdc++-4.4.7-4.el6.i686
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-69.el6.x86_64
libstdc++-4.4.7-4.el6.x86_64
libstdc++-devel-4.4.7-4.el6.x86_64
libstdc++-devel-4.4.7-4.el6.i686

However, configure still cannot find the libraries, the same error. Here is
the full output of configure

[igor at localhost ~]$ cd Programs/wine-1.7.3/
[igor at localhost wine-1.7.3]$ ./configure
