Google shows me a number of responses that all tell me to add a line to /etc/sysconfig/network > which I already had. > > [rkampen at timsws network-scripts]$ cat /etc/sysconfig/network > NETWORKING=yes > HOSTNAME=timsws > GATEWAY=192.168.1.1 > You should remove line 'GATEWAY..' as DHCP usually gives it. Try also upgrading dsl router to latest firmware. -- Eero
