Somehow the text of my message got deleted: I'm still using CentOS 7 because both security and stability are important to me. While CentOS Stream may, or may not, have comparable security, it is severely lacking in stability. IMHO both CentOS 8 and CentOS 9 are gigantic piles of garbage. When the time comes that CentOS 7 no longer meets my needs, I'll be switching to some other distro, most likely Debian.
