I am still getting the same error message about ACPI<br>

in the dmesg output.<br>

example:<br>

ACPI: PCI interupt .... IRQ 16<br>

eth0: RealTek RTL8139 ... IRQ16<br>

eth0: identified 8139 chip type<br>

so ACPI is grabbing IRQ 16 and not letting eth0 have it. (I Think).<br>

<br>

How do I correctly disable it on my compaq v2000 laptop.<br>

I think it is not allowing my usb and realtek network to function.<br>
