Hello Pablo,
I installed:
xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.20.1-5.3.el7_6.0.7.armv7hl.rpm and
xorg-x11-server-common-1.20.1-5.3.el7_6.0.7.armv7hl.rpm
That seemed to do the trick; Even the Gnome config worked
(better actually then the x86_64 RHEL/Centos and variants)
I haven't checked any logs or anything, but haven't seen any bad behavior either.
thanks!
Ron

Thanks!!!Hello Pablo,
cool!! I see you do a lot of work on this, it is appreciated. (I wish I had some time for that).
Actually, can you try this version instead? https://people.centos.org/pgreco/xorg-x11-server/20190507012356/ , it is a minimal fix on top of the one that is crashing
I'll check by the end of the week, else I try to use the one you mentioned below.
thanks!
Ron

I was actually trying to fix that one yesterday, I built a new version based on the fedora package and it solved for me, but the change is too big to do a fasttrack version, I'll try to work this week on finding the right fix for our current version.Hello,
I built an SD card with CentOS-Userland-7-armv7hl-generic-GNOME-1810-sda.raw, and it looks like X doesn't want to start.
Is that a known issue? (any ideas on how to fix this?)
In the meantime, you can find the test/unsigned version here https://people.centos.org/pgreco/xorg-x11-server/20190429195735/
Pablo.I attached the Xorg log below,
thanks,
