I just received three Pi 3's yesterday. I have installed CentOS on one and am configuring it for use as a firewall and router. It boots fine and works like a champ. It is not ready yet for use in it's intended role, but I will keep you posted.
I already have a Pi 2B running as a firewall with CentOS and that one is doing very nicely as well. The Pi 2B is intended only as a side door access to my network when I am traveling and not as a router so it has very little load most of the time.
The Pi 3B does seem to run hot, so I added heat sinks to the top-side chips.

I have a .noarch rpm for it, but in the mean time, if you want to test/use embedded wifi on your rpi3, be sure to do this (as root) : curl --location https://github.com/raspberrypi/firmware/raw/master/boot/bcm2710-rpi-3-b.dtb/boot/bcm2710-rpi-3-b.dtbcurl --location https://github.com/RPi-Distro/firmware-nonfree/raw/54bab3d6a6d43239c71d26464e6e10e5067ffea7/brcm80211/brcm/brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin/usr/lib/firmware/brcm brcmfmac43430-stdio.bincurl --location https://github.com/RPi-Distro/firmware-nonfree/raw/54bab3d6a6d43239c71d26464e6e10e5067ffea7/brcm80211/brcm/brcmfmac43430-sdio.txt/usr/lib/firmware/brcm brcmfmac43430-stdio.txtAnd reboot to ensure the dtb is initialized and kernel knows about the hardware in place. Enjoy
