Place to store images and ostree artifacts

New f26 and opensuse-42.2 slaves for libguestfs

Hi, I'd like to register new vm's/slaves for the libguestfs hypervisor: - fedora-26 (libguestfs-ci-f26-slave) - fedora-26-i686 (libguestfs-ci-f26-i686-slave) - opensuse-42.2 (libguestfs-ci-opensuse-42.2-slave01) could you please provide credentials for them? Also, there are few slaves that can be dropped: - libguestfs-ci-f23-slave01 - libguestfs-ci-opensuse-13.2-slave01 - libguestfs-ci-opensuse-42.1-slave01 Thanks, -- Pino Toscano

Hi Folks, The rest of the CI migration finished this morning, and we have opened Jenkins to accept new jobs. There are quite a few jobs still stacked up in the build queue, so we'll be monitoring those as the day progresses. You'll notice a few slaves offline, that's by design, we're using that to throttle things a bit until things quiet down. Thanks very much for your patience, and happy testing! --Brian

Testing credentials for GitHub PR plugin

Hi, does anyone know if it is somehow possible to to have job using GitHub pull request builder plugin for Pull Requests testing. BUT configure the job in a way that no "output" will be shown in GitHub PR? (no status updates, no "Can one of the admins verify this patch?" messages, ...) I've not found any option for this. Is there any? I am using a new job for testing new jobs configuration (I want it to act the same as "normal" job), but no output should be visible in GH (the new job configuration may not work properly). I managed to solve this in my Jenkins by using 'auth-id:' which can't write a repository. Would it be possible to add such credential in CentOS CI Jenkins? (github token for centos user with 'read:org' permission - it is needed because job can be triggered by all members in GH organization) Thanks, Marek

Ongoing Jenkins Maintenance

Hi Folks, We are continuing the maintenance period for Jenkins and the CI Infrastructure into tomorrow: https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/ci-users/2017-March/000502.html The Jenkins interface is back up in read-only mode so you can browse archived tests and results. Until we get the all-clear, triggered jobs will continue to build in the Build Queue. We will make the all clear announcement to ci-users as soon as we get the rest back up and running. openshift env for CI

Now that I know both Jenkins/jjb and OpenShift, I find myself often thinking in terms of *services* as opposed to the default "job" model of Jenkins. Basically, a number of the things I'd like to do in the CI env would be better expressed as services than as jobs. (Not all) I heard there was an effort to create an internal OpenShift environment - are there any examples of consumers of that or documentation on it? Are people using that for *persistent* services or just testing container images? But even then I'd really like to expose public services in some cases - think informational display that gets awkward to render into jobs. I have access to other OpenShift clusters where I could run these services, but then I get into a situation of copying data around, as well as dealing with authentication. (IMO really CentOS CI should have *multiple* Jenkins, each group gets its own master deployed *in* OpenShift...a while ago I accidentally forgot a `node:` spec on one of my jobs which ended up running on the libvirt FreeBSD slave. This is something that should really never happen)
