How to delete old jobs?

I recently replaced a job with some new jobs in my JJB template, but the old job remains in the CI system (and still runs): https://ci.centos.org/job/bodhi-bodhi/ How do I delete this no-longer-needed job?

Can jobs triggered by github triggered jobs set status on github easily?

Greetings! I'm interested in sprucing up my JJB template[0] so that the following happens: 0) When a pull request is opened, a job is triggered that builds a container with the contents of the pull request. The results of this are reported to the pull request. 1) Success of that first job triggers a variety of jobs that all use that container and test different things. I would like these to run in parallel and I would like them to each also report back to the pull request. I would like each of these to have their own "status-context" that describes what they tested, if that makes sense. I see that there are a variety of ways to have jobs trigger other jobs, but what I don't know is how the subsequent jobs can set the "status-context" since they wouldn't be triggered from the pull request itself (outside of me manually using curl to GitHub, which I'd rather not do). showing more than one check in github ui from ci.centos.org

Hi, We are running unit tests and functional tests on ci.centos.org[1][2] for container-pipeline-service[3] repository. Both the jobs are set to be triggered on PR raised on the repository. Now whenever a PR is raised, both jobs runs and overrides the check status for each other. So, we can see status of only one check at one time. Is there a way we can show both the checks on github UI, with their status? apps.ci.centos.org registry service degradtaion

Hi Folks, I'm seeing a few issues with the internal registry on apps.ci.centos.org I'm going to work over the next couple of hours to get some things moved around and redeployed. Hurricane Florence and CentOS CI/CBS

Hi All, Some of you may know that the CentOS Community Build System, and CentOS CI Infrastructures are hosted in Raleigh, North Carolina. I wanted to take this opportunity to let all of you know that outages are possible (but not expected) in the coming days as Hurricane Florence makes its way toward the US East coast. We are confident in the precautions taken by our datacenter vendor, and in the preparedness plans by our DC operations team. Deletion of some jobs

Hello all, My name is Zach, and I'm a member of the Foreman team. We use ci.centos.org to run some of our testing. About 30 minutes ago I was setting up a job to maintain the jobs that we use on ci.centos.org and I copied over a command that we use on ci.theforeman.org which will update jobs and delete old jobs. We use this with ci.theforeman.org as we maintain all of our jobs in the same repository, also not realizing that the foreman user would have permissions to delete other jobs. I realized a bit into the job that it was not doing this, and instead was deleting other users jobs. I stopped the job, but it had already deleted 128 jobs. I sincerely apologize for this, it was not intentional, but a big mistake. I'm attaching a list of all the deleted jobs so that users can be aware. We will be removing this command and not running this again. Once again I sincerely apologize, for any undue stress or harm this may have caused. Yum cache problem on some node

Automating accepting repository invitations for the centos-ci user

Hi there, One of the pain points I have with using ci.centos.org is that whenever you want to configure a new repository, you have to wait for `centos-ci` to accept the invitation. This can take a few days, and I usually have to create a bug in bug.centos.org on behalf of the developers to raise awareness that we're waiting for this. I was wondering if we could improve this workflow. I suggest we host a repo under `github.org/centos` with a yaml file with whitelisted repositories. This way as soon as anyone with permissions, such as Brian or KB, merges a PR that includes a new whitelisted repo, it will trigger a job that automatically accepts that repository invitation on behalf of the `centos-ci` user. I like this workflow because merges can be done very quickly, and even from a cell phone ;) It also provides a platform to discuss with the developers in case there are any questions about the repo, etc, plus added auditability, etc. Note that the old workflow would continue to work, i.e. having the repo in the whitelist file is not strictly required as invitations can still be manually handled. But if users actually send a PR it will be faster for them. Greetings everyone, I am Vipul, an associate software engineer at Red Hat. I have been contributing to Fedora and Gluster for a while now and have recently joined Fedora&CentOS Infra Team. As I am a **very** new addition to the team, I yet have to discover different areas and projects to decide what I will be working on. Thankfully Brian [0] is helping me fill the gaps.
