Hello everyone, This is an email to inform you that now you can checkout CentOS 8 and CentOS 8-Stream nodes in CI. We have upgraded all the agents with the latest cico client which supports the parameter --release=8 and --release=8-stream. Here is a minimal example to get an 8/8-stream node `cico node get --release=8` `cico node get --release=8-stream` You should be able to use all other parameters like earlier. In case you see any problem with them, please let us know here or on #centos-ci@Freenode. Thank you

if i make a call with /node/get?ver=8, it looks like a node is allocted, but there is a key context issue, my ssh keys are not installed ( or there is a config issue, since i cant get in ).

sshd in CentOS 8 does not accept DSA keys, we'll need to add a different key to your user entry. Ping me off-list and we can do that.
One more thing for us to add to the documentation.
Hello!
First of all - wonderful news! I went ahead and tried to switch our RHEL8 systemd job to CentOS 8, but it looks like there an issue with the internal repo mirrors:

It's because the internal mirrorlist server in CI had not (yet) the logic to parse repositories and so answer with correct URLs. It's now done and working, but I'll sync with Vipul about this as deployed 8-stream nodes are actually deployed withut centos-release-stream, so pointing by default to 8 and not 8-stream
Thanks a lot for the fix (it indeed works) and the explanation!

Yes, but that one isn't specific to CI, but impacting everybody : no sources for Stream were ever pushed at all it seems : http://vault.centos.org/centos/8-stream/
So it's all empty for now. I'd suggest creating a bug on https://bugs.centos.org that can be assigned to either Johnny or Brian.

Hi, do we have something like CRB (aka buildroot) available for both 8 and 8-Stream? With stock machine I am unable to compile NM as I do with CentOS 7. Thus a blocker for me.
just an example: No match for argument: libndp-devel No match for argument: ModemManager-glib-devel No match for argument: pygobject3-base No match for argument: dbus-python No match for argument: teamd-devel

the packages are in an Nmstate Copr:

The Copr might be moved in the future. Also
