Thanks, Jonathan. Right now the RISC-V community is planning some initial support for CentOS within the ISA SIG, as we felt that was a more appropriate place to surface - the reasoning being that the Alt Arch SIG specifically requires builds to have only CentOS Stream components, and not all are working yet on RISC-V, and I think it will be that way for some time. Hopefully by the time it is no longer an issue, RISC-V will be well enough represented in the build infra that it won't be an alternative arch at all, just a normal part of CentOS.

This might be relevant to the folks working on RISC-V.  Perhaps they want to revive it?

Hi all,

The CentOS Board periodically reviews SIGs to ensure they're active.
The Alternative Architectures SIG is no longer active, so we intend to
retire this SIG unless somebody from the community wants to revive it.

Thanks,
Shaun
