Not sure this is the right mailing list, but do we have a status when those packages would be available for CentOS 7? Or can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Hello, sclorg [0] is the mailing list you're looking for. You're right the collection still isn't listed on softwarecollections.org. Maybe Jan (CC'd) will know more about that.
But the availability itself was solved before I read your email, as I did find the packages on Centos 7 mirror[1].
