Problém s neúplnými locales cs_CZ.UTF-8 v systému CentOS 6.5 (zřejmě chybějí CTYPE a některé další kategorie)

Dobrý den, mám nainstalován CentOS verze 6.5 a narazil jsem na následující problém -- vypadá to, jako by chyběla definice CTYPE pro české locales v kódování UTF-8. Symptomy: $ set|fgrep -e LC_ -e LANG LANG=cs_CZ.UTF-8 LC_TIME=en_US.UTF-8 $ export A=ěščřžýáíéúůqwerty $ echo ${A^^} ěščřžýáíéúůQWERTY $ echo $A | tr "[[:lower:]]" "[[:upper:]]" ěščřžýáíéúůQWERTY Oba příkazy by dle mého názoru při správně definovaném CTYPE měly vracet všechna písmena jako velká. Když jsem se pokusil pomocí localedef přeložit soubor /usr/share/i18n/locales/cs_CZ, rozbila se mi čeština a zpět jsem se odkázal vrátit až smazáním /usr/lib/locale/locale-archive a následnou reinstalací glibc-common. Nemáte někdo zkušenost nebo tip, co s tím? Info o systému: 2.6.32-431.3.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Jan 3 21:39:27 UTC 2014 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux CentOS release 6.5 (Final) Děkuji předem za odpovědí a přeji hezký den, V. S.

Pripojeni dvou monitoru k dokovaci stanici

Snazila jsem se pripojit k druhy monitor k dokovaci stanici, ale bud se mi na obou monitorech zobrazuje to same nebo funguje jen jeden z nich. Vite nekdo co s tim? Odebrani disku - posune se oznacni ostatnich disku?

Hezky den, mam jako virtualni stroj CentOS 5.5 a k nemu pripojeny 4 disky sda SCSI 0:0 sdb SCSI 0:1 sdc SCSI 0:2 sdd SCSI 0:3 Rozdeleni a oznaceni je nasledujici: sda1 LABEL=/boot sda2 LABEL=/var/lib/mysql2 sda3 LABEL=/ sda4 swap sda5 LABEL=/var sda6 LABEL=/tmp sdb1 LABEL=/var/backup sdc1 LABEL=/var/lib/mysql3 sdd1 LABEL=/var/lib/mysql Potrebuji odstranit disk sdb tedy /var/backup. Co se ale stane s temi nasledujicimi? Po rebootu se "preskladaji", tedy sdc>sdb a sdd>sdc. A jak se potom zachova pripojovani? Ve fstab je vsechno pripojovano pomoci label tak ze se nikde zadne /dev/sdX nevyskytuje, ale... Docel nerad bych resil ze se system pri startu na necem zakousne. Myslim si ze se to bude chovat tak jak popisuji a ze pri bootu bude vsechno OK, jen bych to mel jeste potvrzene od nekoho zkusenejsiho :-) Predem dekuji za odpovedi Josef Lacina

Ohledne smart signaling APC UPS

Ahoj, nebo dobrý den Mám problém s centos 5.3 a smart signalingem na UPS. Pripojenou UPS APC 1000VA pres usb/com adapter ktery je detekovany jako pl2303 a smart signaling com kabelem. Ve windows s timto adapterem a kabelem smart signaling jede. V centosu mi to funguje pouze v klasickem nastaveni bez smart signalingu. pouzivam nejnovejsi APC agent 8.1 pro linux. dik za pomoc, pokud nekdo vi jak na to Ales __________ Informace od ESET NOD32 Antivirus, verze databaze 4647 (20091129) __________ Tuto zpravu proveril ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.cz

Prihlaseni po suspendu

Dobry den, pouzivam CentOS 5.3 na notebooku HP nx7400. Stroj nevypínám, ale suspenduju do RAM. Pokud jsem na pocitaci pracoval sam, nebyl problem. Ted si k tomu obcas sedne mama. Bylo by mozne nastavit pocitac tak, aby se po probuzeni ze suspendu zeptal na jmeno i heslo? Aby se mohla prihlasit ke svemu uctu? Pri soucasnem nastaveni se pta pouze na heslo uzivatele, ktery byl prihlasen v dobe suspendu. Dekuji a zustavam s pratelskym pozdravem. Petr Strajt

Dobry den, mam cerstve nainstalovany CentOS 5.3 a potrebuji rozjet podporu multimedií. Zatim v yum.repos.d toto: CentOS-Base.repo CentOS-Media.repo adobe-linux-i386.repo Chtel bych si pridat jeste repozitar RPMForge, ktery je uvedeny na wiki, ale nevim, jak nastavit prioriti plugin, abych si nerozhodil systém. tftp server na CENTOS 5

Ahoj konference, pokousim se rozhybat tftp server na CENTOS 5. Mam nainstalovane balicky tftp-server-0.42-3.1.el5.centos.i386 tftp-0.42-3.1.el5.centos.i386 Pokud spustim tftp klienta a pripojim se na localhost tak status vypise ze je connected, ale zadny prenos se mi nepodari uskutecnit (ani put ani get). Nastaveni /etc/xinet.d/tftp jsem nijak nemenil. Je neco co jsem mel udelat/nastavit a neudelal jsem to? Frirewall je vypnuty a SELinux taky. Release Notes Translation translate

Sorry if you get the mail twice: What still *will* change is the list of packages we add/drop from/to upstreams release. So please keep an eye on that section when translating. The rest of the notes won't change. Hey, guys/girls/creatures from Sirius: The english release notes are frozen now, so we can start translating. You can find the english release notes at <http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.1>, where you'll also find links to the pages where the translations will live. All of you who are in the wiki EditGroup (those people should know who they are) have access to those, and all these people here * VincentKnecht * PierreReinbold * PascalMiquet * DennisvanOnselen * StefanNeufeind * CleberSouza * ManuelWolfshant * HardyBeltran * AndreasReschke * DimitriosIoannidis * lystor * AndreasRogge also have access to these pages. Release Notes: Translation, an explanation and something to translate

Hey, somehow we're always running late with those release notes. But: We have a new idea - living online release notes. What does that mean? We are going to split the release notes and have a very short version on the actual CentOS ISOs - those then point to the *real* release notes on wiki.centos.org and to some other places on the wiki and www.centos.org. The real release notes are going to be on the wiki and can be modified as needed (for example the "Known issues" section could grow during the lifetime of 5.1). And this is also the part where most of the translation has to happen! So attached to this mail are the release notes which go on the Isos. These need to be translated real soon now (today would be great - November 22nd 2007 that is, European time that is). Please send those translations to ralph(a)centos.org. In the meantime we are going to develop longer release notes on <http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.1> - these need to be translated also. And to translate these, all translators need an account on wiki.centos.org. So please create an account for yourself (FirstnameLastname - JoeyMiller for example) and send that account name (not the password!) to ralph(a)centos.org also. I'll add you to the list of people who are allowed to edit translations then. This process can take a longer time, these don't need to be complete when 5.1 comes out. Short summary: Please translate the attached text *as soon as possible* and send the results (please only one result per language) to ralph(a)centos.org. Please send your LoginNames for the wiki to ralph(a)centos.org also - otherwise you won't be able to edit the release notes on the wiki. After that you can begin translating the online release notes. The CentOS team wants to thank you all for the great work you are putting into the release (and have during the last release) - you guys and girls are great. THANK YOU!
