i followed a howto to create a local repo. when i open the gui 'add/remove software' and choose 'software sources'

there is an inactive entry for my new local repo, but it refuses to get activated.

when i try to install manually `yum install xxx` i get following error :

file:///share/Centos/6/local/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml:
[Errno 14] Could not open/read file:///share/Centos/6/local/x86_64/repodata/repomd.xml

owner root.root

mod   544

(as described in howto)

what is yum`s identitiy (euid/egid) ???
