Problemas para instalar Servidor NIS

Estoy instalando el servidor NIS con el manual de Joel Barrios. Sigo todos los pasos pero cuando llego a la parte de ... service portmap restart (me dice service desconocido). Tengo instalado un CentOS 6. [root@geounsl var]# rpcinfo -u localhost ypserv rpcinfo: RPC: Port mapper failure - Unable to receive: errno 111 (Connection refused) program 100004 is not available Esto me muestra cuando ejecuto el comando para verificar si el servicio esta funcionando. Encontre este problema que lo tenia otra persona y a mi me pasa lo mismo, pero soy nuevo. Como puedo saber la respuesta. Muchas Gracias

Carlos tambien puedes bloquearlos editando el archivo /etc/hosts.deny. Estupenda web de configuración Centos 6

Hola, He encontrado una web con un montón de información para configurar funciones en Centos 6 http://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=CentOS_6&p=download Lo que he probado a configurar según estas instrucciones funciona, salvo un pequeño detalle en phpldapadmin, y es que en config.php hay que suprimir (poner como comentario) la línea que dice: $servers->setValue('login', 'attr', 'uid'); ... o phpldapadmin no te reconoce usuario y contraseña. Me falta configurar samba como controlador de dominio sobre LDAP; ya veremos que tal sale. Espero que os sea de interés. Saludos, Arturo.

Problemas con IPTables

Hola lista, tengo un servidor con iptables, pero hoy fui a reiniciar el iptables para modificar unas reglas, pero se queda al descargar los modulos del kernel, de ahi no sigue. Modifique segun lei en algunos foros el fichero /etc/sysconfig/iptables-config, la linea que viene en "yes" (unload kernel modules, algo asi si mal no recuerdo) pero entonces me freeza la consola en Aplicando las reglas del cortafuego. Ese servidor esta a varias millas de mi, o sea, que no tengo acceso fisico a el, que puedo hacer para recuperar el iptables tambien he intentado reinstalar el iptables, pero todo igual. Actualizando Dovecot 1.x a 2.x

Buen día, Recientemente me di a la tarea y estoy en CentOS 6, y quisiera saber si hay alguna forma de portar la configuración que tenia en Dovecot 1.x a Dovecot 2.x Ya que los archivos ahora estan separados y ubicados dentro de: /etc/dovecot/conf.d Ya no es un solo archivo de configuración. Hola buen día, Tengo la siguiente situación: Uso posftix con cuentas virtuales y uso postfixadmin para manejar las cuentas. Tengo creadas 100 cuentas de correo electrónico, incluso se van a crear muchas más. Lo que deseo hacer, es que cada correo que entre a cualquiera de las 100 cuentas creadas, vaya a una sola cuenta especifica -que es mía- por ejemplo a: administrador(a)dominio.com ¿Algún enlace de como hacer esto? Selinux

Cordial saludo lista. Tengo un requerimiento que no he podido solucionar realizando las opciones que aparecen en san google. A continuación el escenario. Sistema Operativo: CentOS 6.2 x86_64 Selinux activado. Requerimiento: en un directorio "/repositorio" debo poder leer y escribir con una aplicación que utiliza apache para mostrarse al usuario y sobre ese mismo directorio se requiere que un usuario "XXX" pueda subir bajar archivos empleando vsftp. He colocado el contexto public_share_rw_t a /repositorio y el ftp puede leer, cargar y descargar archivos pero me deja de funcionar el aplicativo que usa apache, y si coloco el contexto httpd_sys_content_t a /repositorio me funciona el aplicativo que usa apache pero no no puedo acceder a él con el vsftpd. Cualquier comentario es bien recibido. -- Carlos R!.

Problemas Impresora HP

Buenas tardes gente, esta es mi primer consulta, pido disculpa sino cumplo con algun requisito. Tengo una consulta para hacer, estoy intentando agregar una impresora HP LaserJet P1505 en un Servidor Centos 5.7 para compartirla con el resto de la red, la misma esta instalada e imprimiendo localmente en un puesto de trabajo con Ubuntu.
