Me olvide de decir que realvnc sigue funcionando correctamente y sigo viendo el escritorio desde X.
La salida de startx me da:

Bueno, eso, configuré vnc server y funciono de maravillas, pero al reiniciar el servidor, el monitor conectado al mismo me informó que no es posible arrancar X.
Puede ser que vnc server me halla tomado el screen 0 y por ello no pueda utilizar arrancar X para el monitor conectado al servidor directamente?
Ya he realizado varios procedimientos comunes y nada.
Estaré muy agradecido de cualquier ayuda que puedan suministrarme para solucionar este problema.
