Não tenho esse pacote, por isso não aconteceu comigo. Mas parece que tá fácil resolver, verifica se tu realmente usa essa extensão aí do perl - se não usa, remove. Se ainda assim não der certo, desativa o update do perl no yum.conf. Ou se não quiser, simplesmente desativa o repositório do RPM Forge pra essa atualização.

Ontem recebi um e-mail de 2 sistemas meus rodando CentOS 5.5 dizendo que
estava tendo erro de dependências do nada. Bem fui checar e o problema está
ocorrendo no rpmforge, como teve atualização do arquivo repo deles fui dar
uma olhada melhor e percebi que tem 3 repos. Eu havia deixado habilitado
somente o principal [rpmforge] e dava a mensagem de dependência, depois
tentei como abaixo habilitar o [rpmforge-extras] e aí o erro piora porque o
link dos pacotes no extras não tá acessível. :( a mensagem de erro de
dependêcia coloquei mais abaixo. Alguém está passando por isso também?

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.
