Updated httpd fixes dos in mod_ssl and some bugfixes

There is an update to httpd and mod_ssl for CentOS-3.1 https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2004-084.html refers. Updated files are :- updates/i386/RPMS/httpd-2.0.46-32.ent.centos.1.i386.rpm updates/i386/RPMS/httpd-devel-2.0.46-32.ent.centos.1.i386.rpm updates/i386/RPMS/mod_ssl-2.0.46-32.ent.centos.1.i386.rpm updates/i386/SRPMS/httpd-2.0.46-32.ent.centos.1.src.rpm These are available at http://mirror.centos.org/3.1/ and should be on all mirrors within a few hours. CentOS 3.1 has now been released

Thanks to all who have tested - CentOS 3.1 has now been released. .... The release includes all security updates for rhel released by 18th March. For now further security announcements will be posted to both the centos(a)caosity.org and centos-devel(a)caosity.org mailing lists. .... CentOS-3 also now includes the rhel documentation, both on the cds (cd3 /docs) and also on the mirrors in the 3.1/docs/ directory. .... There were some problems with build 8 that mean that you will need to run a script to update to 3.1 - see http://mirror.centos.org/centos/upgrading-to-3.1.txt for details. .... All rpms in 3.1 are now signed with the CentOS-3 gpg key , as is the list of md5sums on the server. .... A bittorrent is available to download a dvd iso image :- http://mirror.centos.org/centos/3.1/isos/Centos-3.1-i386.dvd.iso.torrent This may be slow initially, but as more people use it then it will speed up. Bittorrent rpms are available in the testing repo of builds 7,8 and 3.1 . .... MySQL problems

Hi all! I have just started with CentOS 3.1, so far i was using WhiteBox EL and Fedora. CentOS looks greate, but i have a small question: Where i can find the mysql-server package, i have looked on CD and in website, but can't find it. Regards J.Pinkis

Cannot install

Hi, Beta 8, selected server & developer. The installation goes into a loop on disk 2, with the error, that it cannot read zlib-devel... claiming that either the file is corrupted or the drive is not working. The disk is OK: md5 ok The file is OK, I can open it on the same machine in Windows and see the files within the rpm. Any suggestion? -- Thanks syv(a)911networks.com

build7 isos dont fit on a normal 650M CD-R

The build7 isos (at least disk1 and disk2) dont fit on a normal 650M CD-R. There was a silent update of the isos on the 28th of february which inlcuded moving some development packages from disk3 to disk1 and disk2. What is the rationale behind this reorganization? How does this affect the installation? BTW moving kernel-unsupported and kernel-source to disk1 would also be something to consider if the reorganization does not effect the distribution otherwise. Centos 3 Build 7 installation problem

Have any encounter this before when try to do a full centos 3 install? The package libgcj-ssa-devel-3.5ssa-0.20030801.41 cannot be opened. This is due to a missing file or perhaps a corrupt package. This error pop up when it is reading disc #3.
