XFS Issues

We are in the process of migrating XFS filesystems from one storage array to another. Both are arrays are mounted locally on the same CentOS 4.4 system (x86_64). We are running kernel 2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp along with kernel-module-xfs-2.6.9-42.0.2.ELsmp-0.1-3. The issue we are having is that while the copy is running (using rsync) the system will log these message periodically: kernel: XFS: possible memory allocation deadlock in kmem_alloc (mode:0x250) kernel: XFS: possible memory allocation deadlock in kmem_alloc (mode:0x2d0) Eventually the system will panic. This looks similar to this bug: http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=410 which was apparently fixed in April. Is there any chance that the fix will make it into the centosplus kernel-module-xfs? Configuring Multiple Gateways

I'm in need of installing two NICs in a machine that are connected to 2 different public networks and I need both IP addresses accessible from the outside. The IPs are part of two completely different subnets. For example: eth0 IP - 10.10.10.2/30 GW - 10.10.10.1 eth1 IP - 20.20.20.6/30 GW - 20.20.20.5 How can I configure 2 gateways on this server? I pretty much have this same setup. I don't have routing enabled is all. I configure each ethx device like they were on a single network. When your system is up and running, check the routing table, using route. It'll tell you which interface can reach which networks. My setup has 192.168.a.b/24 on eth0, 192.168.c.d/24 on eth1 and I can ping hosts on both networks. There's always a possibility I don't understand your question! :) Thanks! Well, the way I configure my servers is that no data gets stored on an OS partition. Once the server is built, I create an image of it, and store it off on another machine. For any incremental changes, I use rsync to keep track of changes for the entire system. So, if a drive should die, I can pop in a new drive and restore with g4l. Then use the latest rsync backup to restore all the changes. I've done this on several occasions, and it works very well, even on systems with terabytes of data. The key is to keep data and OS software on seperate partitions, or better yet, drives. Thanks! howto compile wine on centos 4 and x86_64

Hi all, I am trying to compile wine on x86_64 for 32 bit world. I tried doing yum provides to try and find it but I cannot find it. Has anyone gotten x86_64 wine to build? Can you share your steps? Or what about this libc6-dev.i386 package? Thanks, Jerry
