CentOS-4.3 Kickstart 'Boot Failed'

Hello, I'm trying to setup a CentOS-4.3 kickstart. When vmlinuz is loading, a message appears "Boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue." I am kickstarting via a USB flash drive. From the i386 ISO image #1, I am using vmlinuz from the isolinux directory. I have grabbed the vmlinuz file from a couple different mirrors just in case the one I had originally was corrupt. My CentOS-4.2 kickstart works without any issues and I modeled my 4.3 kickstart after 4.2. Any ideas on what could be causing the boot failed problem? Anyone have/is working on a rpm for mailman 2.1.8 ?

X86_64, Groupinstall KDE fails

I have an Athlon/64, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB IDE system and I'm intending to use it for combination workstation/Dev server duties. I've gotten a consistent failure when I try to groupinstall KDE. I've tried running rpm --rebuilddb, and yum clean all to no positive change. What's going on here? Changing mount point - 4.3

Hi A box was installed with the majority of the free space in /home but i actually want this to be available to /opt. My fstab had /home looking like this LABEL=/home /home ext3 defaults 1 2 I umounted /home and changed the fstab to look like this /dev/sda5 /opt ext3 defaults 1 2 and then mounted /opt. All works fine. My question is, is this the 'correct' way to do something like this or should i stick to 'LABEL' ? I wonder as i'm not sure where the label tag gets set and when i see the box boot now it still references /home when in reality it is /opt on sda5. Is this a really bad thing to do? thanks

Protectbase Plugin not working?
