Wireless USB mouse

Hi I am posting this message again because I am desperate. I have search the net, joined the x.org mailing list and have gotten no where. I never even got a response on the x.org mailing list. I am using a microsoft wireless laser mouse model 6000, and it moves fine but when you move over icons menus etc it will click on it own. I am at the point of switching to Ubuntu which works just fine. I have even changed my xorg.conf file to match Ubuntus for the mouse section and still no go. I have added the plus repositories and updated to the latest kernel and still no go. My xorg.conf file look like the following Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "CorePointer" Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice" Option "Protocol" "ExplorerPS/2" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "Emulate3Buttons" "yes" EndSection My system is a dual athlon 2.2Ghz (Tyan mpx) 1gig ram 200Gig HD Ati 9700Pro 128Meg USB 1.1 USB microsoft 6000 laser mouse (wireless) pluged into a 4port hub USB Saitek eclipse keyboard. pluged into a 4port hub Thanks for any help Mace

Do you have any logfile output? First check whether the environment (JAVA_HOME for example) is set before calling /usr/apache-tomcat-5.5.17/bin/startup.sh. There was some reading of man pages and configuration of files to get it to work, but I'm left with all packages being managed by yum and no compiling or use of CPAN for perl dependencies. Thanks for the reply, It make sense now, I should have thought to try the ks=hd:<device>:/ks.cfg setting. I first I thought this was for hard disks only. Anyway, tried ks=hd:scd0:/test-ks.cfg and everything works as expected. Thank you. Dean.

Kickstart problem.

I am trying to use kickstart for automated builds from a DVD. Some of the machines have DVD's drives and some have CDRom drives only. With the CDRom only machines I would like to plug in an external DVD drive via USB and use this to kickstart. The DVD only machines work correctly with a isolinux.cfg as label test kernel vmlinuz append initrd=initrd.img ramdisk_size=8192 ks=cdrom:/test-ks.cfg Machines with a internal CDRom drive and the external USB DVD do not find the kickstart so I figure that I need to change the ks=cdrom:/test-ks.cfg to something else. I have tried the following with no success label test2 kernel vmlinuz append initrd=initrd.img ramdisk_size=8192 ks=cdrom1:/test-ks.cfg To save me producing lots of coasters can anyone tell me what the "ks=cdrom" should be changed to. CentOS 4.3/postfix/procmail lock failures

Hello, What is the proper solution to the problem below the sig? For a similar issue, Phillip Guenther, procmail's maintainer, at <http://article.gmane.org/gmane.mail.procmail/1623/match=error+writing+var+s…> suggests "chmod g+s /usr/bin/procmail", but I'm reluctant. There are also suggestions that in this configuration the packager must make certain that fcntl locking is in force, but I DUNNO. Full disclosure: postfix is version 2.3, compiled locally. Procmail is invoked with by postfix via "mailbox_command = /usr/bin/procmail". SQLite with PHP5 problem

Has anyone ever installed PHP5 with SQLiteDatabase class support in CentOS 4.3? I have to run a program with this class for a core feature. But unfortunately, both the php 5.0.4 package in centosplus and a SRPM build from FC5 will not work with this class. With the error "undefined class SQLiteDatabase"! And there *IS* the "pdo_sqlite.so" extension in my php.d/pdo.ini file, as well as the "pdo.so" class. But when I testing the SQLite support with: dl("pdo_sqlite.so"); sqlite_open(xxx); new SQLiteDatabase(xxx); The result is the "dl" line will give out a warning showing that the "pdo_sqlite.so" is already loaded. The "sqlite_open" line will give out a message showing that no function such like "sqlite_open". All the solutions by Google cannot solve this. Is there anyone can explain this?
