squirrelmail-1.4.8-5.el4_8.5.src.rpm not updated for Centos4

Hello All, Could someone check if the last squirrelmail rpm is available on Centos4 ? I check on http://centos.arcticnetwork.ca/4.7/updates/i386/RPMS/ but there is no trace of the last squirrelmail package. Maybe there is a rsync problem somewhere??? Best Regards, js.

php5 and sqlite

Is there any reason (besides upstream does it) to compile php5 with --without-sqlite in CentOS5 ? Would it conflict with the sqlite that yum needs? Is there a repo (centosplus, rpmforge...) having a php5 and sqlite enabled ? Next step is that I`ll start fiddling some more with the timeout values :)

SSH Authenticity Messages... Disable/

Greetings CentOS community! I connect to a very large number of new machines with a handful of my CentOS boxen. Whenever I connect to a new host, I *REALLY* would like to *NOT* see the error message such as this: The authenticity of host 'w.x.y.z (w.x.y.z)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 62:7a:6c:e5:03:f5:47:be:23:a5:c5:e5:c3:60:9b:8d. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes Also, some of these systems are being setup with an automated login system via SSH keys which means I have to manually login to each of the boxes before the automated scripting will work just to clear the 'authenticity' error. Is there a way to disable this error/authenticity check globally for a system? I understand it may not be the best practice in terms of security, but for an internal trusted host, I have no reservations making this change. Help! :-) --Tim

Hi there. I have 2 days trying to resolve this issue ... I have 2 xen servers in cluster ... and I installed Luci on another server separate from the 2 xen servers. I created a cluster ... I create a failed over domain .... I did migration and live migration from a dom0 to another ... My problem is .... I don`t have "Add a virtual Service" tab to add A VM as a cluster service ... 64-bit CentOS - your experience

Hello, one of our developers is developing his Web applications (PHP-based+MySql) on 64-bit Fedora. He would like to use the same, 64-bit environment on CentOS. I am not against 64-bits (we use it for many, many years using Solaris) but what concerns me is the stability of 64-bit Linux. Can you share your experience regarding stability of 32-bit and 64-bit CentOS ? Does anybody use 64-bit CentOS in production (web applications) environment ? dm-ioband RPM packages

Hi all, I'm pleased to announce that the new dm-ioband RPM package (v1.12.0) has been released at: http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/ioband/wiki/dm-ioband dm-ioband provides disk bandwidth control on per partition, per user, per process and per virtual machine (such as KVM or Xen) basis. The RPM packages are for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x and CentOS 5.x. They were tested on RHEL 5.2 and CentOS 5.3 and will also work on other 5.x versions. The major change of this release is that a new bandwidth control policy "range-bw" is supported. This policy is developed by Dong-Jae Kang, and it allows users to set a minimum and maximum I/O bandwidth by absolute numbers. The minimum I/O bandwidth should be guaranteed for stable performance or reliability of specific process groups, and I/O bandwidth over the maximum limit should be throttled to protect the limited I/O resource from over-provisioning in unnecessary usage or to reserve the I/O bandwidth for another use.
