Hi, how are mails forwarded, if I do have the same alias pointing to two different users like this (two entries, two lines): bon.aqua: coke bon.aqua: pepsi Will coke and pepsi get the mail adressed to bon.aqua or will only the first entry get the mail? I can't start the SVN server at the boot on CentOS

UID GID Problems.....

Hoping someone can help me fix something that I apparently messed up, i have the issue that when I untar a file as root the uid and gid that get set are not roots'. I had change a user uid and gid to 1000 via usermo -u etc.... but somehow it appears to have effected the root user. When I touch files as root the correct uid and gid are root, however when untaring an archive the directory and files are uid and gid =1000. Hope someone can point me in the right direction....oh yea, running centos 5.4, and when I run the command id = uid=0, gid=0, etc,,,,all appear to be right for root....Thanks in advance.

SSH slow

Hi All, All of my systems are running 5.4 x64. The are all AMD x64 processors with at least 2gb of RAM in each. I am running SSH on a non standard port. When I SSH into ANY of my systems, I get prompted for my password right away, but after entering, it takes 30+ seconds to get logged in and get a prompt so I can work. I dont quite know what to look for here Does anyone have thoughts? -Jason

CentOS 5 and webex wrf files?

Anyone have experience playing back a Webex wrf file on their CentOS 5.x system? I have a newly installed CentOS 5.4 i386 system and want to play such a file, but the Webex.com web site says it only supports Windows and MacOS for playback. Any other options next to creating a VM of Windows (I'm not buying a Mac for this). Thanks. Scott

Easy to setup and control (only remember first to install the required packages, and I think rsync-devel was not mentioned but is required). Rdiff-backup keeps up an exact copy of the source director(ies), plus it maintains a separate directory for deleted/changed items. With an appropriate command you can restore the source directory as it was at a given point of time.
